Yagya

• PLANETARY – We offer yagyas for nine planets (Navagraha). This includes prayers to the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and/or Ketu. These yagyas remove obstacles and bad luck.  Depending on the jyotish/astrological recommendations, they can have a positive effect on business, health, family life, and relationships with friends and family members, particularly when planets are in the houses of enemies. 

• HEALTH – For support in times of a health crisis, we offer the Mahamritunjaya Yagya, which is one of the most powerful prayers to Lord Shiva. This is especially good for someone in critical condition or going into surgery, but it can be extremely beneficial for any health condition. 

• HOME – Vastu dosha yagya for a home neutralizes negative energies which can be present in a home and create problems in family relationships, wealth, health, etc., and lead to destruction of family life. In addition to the yagya, it’s important to consult a vastu expert and have proper knowledge of construction of a home. (put a link if you have a vastu expert you recommend)

• FAMILY – A family yagya is helpful for maintaining good relationships with all family members, other relatives, and neighbors. This yagya can help create happy families where children will follow instructions from elders. It can also help create stable finances and peace in the home as well as society.

• BIRTHDAY – A birthday yagya is to be done to complete each year of life because yagyas are especially powerful for a person on their birthday. It is a yagya to the named god or goddess for safety and well-being. During the yagya, the universe is thanked for taking care of the supplicant and a great deal of positive energy is generated, along with happiness, wealth and health. The specific yagya performed on the birthday will be chosen according to specific situation, interest and need of the birthday person.

• BABY BIRTH – Yagya at the birth of a baby is a naming ceremony which affords protection from negativity. According to the birth time, date and place, our astrologers/jyotishis can provide the appropriate name for the baby.  There will also be a full ceremony which will set the stage for a full, glorious, and enlightened life. This yagya is done once in life and all Vedic mantras recited in the yagya will have a positive effect on the baby as well as the mother. 

• FOR DECEASED – Yagya for a recently passed family member invites enlightenment and fulfillment in Vishnu Loka for the soul of the deceased. There is a choice of chanting Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita, Gajendra Moksha or Vishnu Sahasranama. This is usually done for 5, 7 or 9 days, ideally finishing on the 11th day after the passing. If it’s not possible to do it this quickly, it can also be done later. This yagya brings good karma to the relative who subscribes to the yagya as well as rest and peace to the soul entering heaven. It is our responsibility to give our respect to that soul from our side.

• SUITABLE SPOUSE (FEMALE) – Special Katyayani Yagya is to be done for girls and women wishing to receive the blessings and grace needed to find a desirable husband and an ideal marriage.  

• SUITABLE SPOUSE (MALE) – Special Sulakshana Yagya is to be done for boys and men wishing to receive the blessings and grace needed to find a desirable wife and an ideal marriage.  

• OBSTACLE REMOVAL – Yagya for Lord Ganesha, the god of wisdom. A yagya to Shri Lord Ganesha can be valuable for correct thinking, making the best decisions, and finding the right direction in life. It can also be helpful for good memory power and for overcoming obstacles and difficult situations. 

• SPIRITUAL PROGRESS – Shiva Yagya, also known as a Rudrabhishek, is especially good for spiritual progress. It is also a valuable aid for someone who isn’t in good health. It will create a great deal of purification and much positivity.  During this yagya, we offer milk to a Shiva lingam while reciting very powerful Vedic mantras, which help destroy negativity surrounding a person.  This yagya gives pure knowledge and protection.

• PROSPERITY – Mahalakshmi Yagya. A goddess of well-being, Shri Mahalakshmi helps with finances, good luck, and relationships with female romantic partners. Mahalakshmi gives us blessings and all the grace needed to fulfill desires and enjoy a happy life. 

• OVERCOME ENEMIES (INTERNAL & EXTERNAL) – Mother Divine Yagyas, also known as Chandi Homas, are to be done for the Nine Days of Mother Divine.  Chandi Homa yagyas are very beneficial if someone is suffering from black magic or any kind of negativity, bad energy or stress in life. They are also helpful for overcoming serious illness. The story of Mother Divine, known as Durga Saptashati, is recited along with a fire offering for creating good energy. Note that Chandi Homas are especially powerful when performed in a Shakti Peeth such as Haridwar, where we are located. Though they are most powerful during the nine days of Mother Divine, they can be performed any time.

• NEW UNDERTAKING – Yagya for supporting the beginning of a new undertaking, such as starting a new business, buying a new car, beginning construction of a new house, etc.

• WEDDING + ANNIVERSARY – Lakshmi Narayan Yagya is beneficial for a newly married couple who desire the brightness and blessings of a beautiful, full, successful life together. It can also be performed for a married couple on the anniversary of their wedding, bringing more of the same benefits to the couple.

• SPECIAL PLANETARY – Kalsarpa Dosha Yagya. This yagya is done when there is an indication for the need in the birth chart when many planets are hemmed between Rahu and Ketu. Kalsarpa Dosha can create some difficulties in life and prevent success.
